Door2Dreams was started by passionate community members who believe deeply in the mission and give their time, talents, and hearts to make it real. While volunteers will always remain the foundation of our work, we’re taking an important next step forward by hiring our first paid staff member.

 

As the organization grows and moves closer to opening our Gathering Lodge, we know that bringing on an Executive Director will help strengthen our capacity, support our volunteers, and ensure Door2Dreams continues to grow sustainably while staying true to the mission that started it all.

Executive Director Position Summary

The Executive Director provides cohesion to the organization and mission by overseeing its daily critical operations and utilizing resources to carry out assigned duties.  In addition, the Executive Director leads the organization to develop new strategies, as necessary, and implement current strategies in an efficient and consistent manner to achieve desired outcomes of the organization.  This position works under the direction of the Board of Directors and also may work with consultants and future employees of the organization to achieve the mission of Door2Dreams, Inc.

Position Type: Hourly, up to 20 hours per week (may vary due to changing needs of the organization)
